The Canon range of cameras is often used for video recording, and can be very high quality.  Typically, the recording on the memory chip is not in physical sequence, the video data is first, and the meta/control data is second.  When a file is read logically, it is the meta data followed by the video data.  It is for this reason that most video recovery programs can not recover the data.  The best that happens is a video is partially recovered, and then repaired.  GPR, on the other hand, recovers the complete video correctly, the first time. The GPR program will also process vidoes that have been fragmented for different reasons

How to recover from Canon camera

• Download GPR propgram and install on PC • Connect memory card tp PC, either internal reader or USB card reader • Open GPR program and select card • Choes outpuit location to save the video to • Press <<Recover>> • Watch the scanning stages, followed by thumbnails of videos that will be recovered.  The demo does not save playable files • If happy, purchase the software and then use the option to convert demo files tomplyable .MP4 videos.
